UI/UX Design

UI/UX Design That Turns Visitors Into Customers

Usability is a revenue lever. We research how your customers think, prototype before a line of code is written, and design interfaces that make buying, signing up, and staying easy.

Design is a business decision

Good design is not decoration. It is the difference between a visitor who buys and one who leaves confused. Our UI/UX design services start with research into how your customers actually think and behave, then turn that into interfaces where the next step is obvious. Every screen we design has a job: reduce friction, build trust, and move people toward a decision.

We design before we build, and we test before we design. Prototypes go in front of real users, so expensive mistakes get caught on a whiteboard instead of in production code. And because we deliver design systems rather than loose screens, your product stays consistent as it grows, whether the next release ships in three months or three years.

What we design

Four layers of one discipline

Hover or tap a frame to see it work

User Research & Personas

We interview users, review behavior data, and watch how customers complete tasks today. The output is a clear picture of who you are designing for and what stands in their way, so every design decision answers a real need instead of a guess.

Wireframing & Prototyping

Before anyone writes code, we build clickable wireframes and prototypes you can put in front of real users. Testing an idea at this stage costs a fraction of fixing it after launch, and it settles design debates with evidence instead of opinion.

UI Design & Design Systems

Polished, on-brand interfaces built on a reusable design system: shared components, spacing rules, color tokens, and typography. Your developers ship faster, new features look like they belong, and your product holds together visually as it grows.

UX Design & Writing

Clear flows and clear words work together. We design the paths users take through your product and write the microcopy that guides them: labels, error messages, empty states, and onboarding. Users who always know what to do next are users who stay.

Prototype mode

How a UI/UX design project flows

Free consultation, written scope, weekly demos, and support after launch — every time. Four connected frames, in order.

  1. Research first

Interviews, analytics, and journey maps — design decisions backed by evidence, not taste.

  2. Wireframe & test

Clickable prototypes tested with real users before a single pixel is polished.

  3. Design the system

Polished UI plus a component system that keeps every future screen consistent.

  4. Measure & iterate

Conversion and usability tracked after launch — the design earns its keep.

What you can expect

UI/UX Design questions, answered

Honest answers — including the ones about price.

What is the difference between UI and UX design?

UX design is the structure: how the product is organized, what steps a user takes, and whether tasks feel easy. UI design is the surface: the visual layer of color, type, spacing, and components that users see and touch. They work together. A beautiful interface on top of a confusing flow still loses customers, which is why we treat both as one discipline.

How much do UI/UX design services cost?

Typical US market ranges: a design refresh for a small business website often runs $5,000 to $15,000, full design for a web or mobile app runs $15,000 to $50,000, and larger products with research and design systems can go beyond that. Scope drives price more than anything else, so we quote a fixed range after a short discovery call rather than guessing.

Do you only design, or can you also build the product?

Both. The same team that designs your interface can build it, which means nothing gets lost in a handoff to another vendor. Larkwell Systems is a US-registered company with a senior global engineering team, a model that lets us offer end-to-end design and development at rates small businesses can afford. Design-only engagements are welcome too.

How long does a website or app redesign take?

A typical website redesign takes 4 to 8 weeks from research through final handoff. App redesigns usually run 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the number of screens and how much user testing the scope calls for. Complex products with full design systems take longer. We set the timeline up front and share clickable prototypes early, so you see the direction within the first two weeks.

How do you measure whether a design actually works?

We agree on metrics before design starts: conversion rate, task completion, drop-off points, support ticket volume, or whatever matters most to your business. Then we test prototypes with real users before launch and track those same numbers after. If a design choice cannot be tied to a measurable outcome, we say so honestly instead of dressing up decoration as strategy.
